The Elishewitz Custom Knives Tank Dirk Flipper is a handcrafted American-made folder from custom knifemaker Allen Elishewitz, built for collectors and users who want a distinctive design paired with premium materials. At 8.125 inches overall, it has a substantial, purpose-built feel in hand. Every Elishewitz custom is made by Allen himself in his shop using manual machines—no CNC. From machining and fitting to the smallest details, each knife is built with an emphasis on tight tolerances, premium materials, and true hands-on craftsmanship.

Blade

The 3.5" S45VN drop point blade is .160" thick with a two-tone matte and satin finish that highlights the blade geometry. S45VN is a modern powder metallurgy steel offering an excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it well suited to hard everyday use. The drop point profile provides a strong tip and versatile cutting edge.

Handle

Marble carbon fiber gives the handle a lightweight feel along with a unique, high-end appearance, accented with iridium detailing for a distinctive look. The knife weighs just 4.13 ounces, keeping it easy to carry despite its full-size dimensions.

Carry

A flipper tab allows quick, intuitive one-hand deployment, while the liner lock secures the blade open during use by wedging a spring-tensioned liner behind the blade tang. A right-hand, tip-up pocket clip completes the carry setup for quick access from the pocket.
