The M6 is a modern redesign of one of Allen Elishewitz’s iconic models from the early to mid-1990s. Like every Elishewitz custom, it is made entirely by Allen in his shop using manual machines—no CNC—with an emphasis on tight tolerances and premium materials. Blade

The 3.75" recurve tanto blade is made from S45VN steel at .160" thick, finished in a two-tone matte and satin combination that highlights the aggressive blade geometry. S45VN is a premium stainless steel offering strong edge retention, good toughness, and reliable corrosion resistance, making it well suited to hard use without sacrificing longevity. The recurve tanto profile adds a reinforced tip and an extended cutting edge for demanding tasks.

Handle

The handle is built around titanium liners with crystallized titanium overlays, giving the surface a distinct textured look that sets this knife apart from standard production models. A G-10 spacer, a fiberglass laminate material, rounds out the construction for added durability. The knife weighs 4.87 ounces, giving it a substantial but manageable feel in hand.

Carry

The M6 uses a liner lock, where a spring-loaded titanium liner shifts behind the blade tang to hold it open securely; pushing the liner aside releases the blade for closing. A right-hand, tip-up pocket clip is included for quick-access carry.
