The Fallkniven F1 Elmax combines the proven design of the F1 with high-performance Swedish Elmax powder steel. Its 3.86" convex-ground blade is hardened to 61–62 HRC, providing an excellent balance of toughness, edge retention, and durability without becoming overly brittle.

The Thermorun handle provides a secure, comfortable grip, while the protruding broad tang adds strength to the overall construction. Measuring 8.39" overall with a 0.18" thick blade, the F1 remains compact and versatile enough for everyday tasks while offering the durability required for demanding outdoor and survival use.
