Fisher Space Pen Cap-O-Matic Pen - Raw Brass

The Cap-O-Matic is Fisher's no-nonsense, everyday workhorse. It operates with a simple click mechanism built into the cap: press the flat end to extend or retract the point, all with one hand. The cap is non-removable, keeping the pen as one solid piece with nothing to lose. This version is raw, unfinished brass that will develop its own unique patina over time based on handling, environment, and body chemistry. If you prefer the original look, it can be polished back anytime. The brass body is composed of 85% copper and 15% zinc, making it a copper alloy with antimicrobial properties registered by the EPA in 2008. Note that the clip and tip are steel, not brass. A portion of the proceeds from each sale is donated to Feeding America. Like all Fisher Space Pens, the pressurized cartridge writes reliably in any orientation, in extreme temperatures, underwater, and in zero gravity. Ships with a medium point black ink pressurized refill.
