The Goathead Knives Hunter 3.5 is a compact fixed blade built for hunters and outdoorsmen who want a dependable field knife without excess bulk. Its size and light weight make it easy to carry all day while still handling detail work in the field.

Blade

The 3.75" blade is made from MagnaCut steel with a sandblasted stonewash finish. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel engineered for a strong balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it well suited to field dressing and general cutting tasks where rust resistance matters. At 0.130" thick, the blade stays nimble for detail work while retaining enough backbone for harder use.

Handle

The handle is built from Micarta, a composite made by compressing layers of linen or canvas with resin under heat and pressure. Micarta is prized for its durability and secure grip, even when wet. At just 3.77oz overall, the knife carries light without feeling flimsy.

Carry

The knife comes with a Kydex sheath fitted with an Ulticlip, allowing for secure, adjustable carry directly on the belt or waistband without the bulk of a traditional sheath. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the tang and blade are one solid piece, ready for immediate use.
