Heretic Colossus
The Heretic Colossus is a full size double action OTF built around Heretic's patent pending button glide, an action that runs on integrated ball bearings for smoother, lower friction deployment. Designed by Anthony Marfione Jr. and assembled by hand in Sebastian, Florida, it is the heavyweight of the Heretic Knives OTF line.
Ball Bearing Button Glide Action
Heretic set ball bearings into the Colossus's thumb slide to cut friction, so the blade fires and retracts quickly but smoothly and locks up solid in both directions. The ramped, textured slide gives a positive grip even with gloves. Every Colossus is hand tuned before it ships, and it is built to fire with authority among our OTF knives.
Colossus Size and Specs
The Colossus runs a 3.5 inch CPM MagnaCut blade on 0.14 inch stock, about 8.5 inches open and just over 5 inches closed, at roughly 4.7 ounces. The 6061-T6 aluminum handle wears grip enhancing traction inlays on both sides, with an inlay delete option for a cleaner look, and the deep carry clip mounts tip down for right or left hand carry.
