The High Grain Designs DeVille R2 is the second production run of this everyday carry folder, refined with an enlarged choil, deeper recessed hardware, and added spine jimping for a more secure forward grip. It suits users who want a refined EDC knife with thoughtful ergonomic updates.

Blade

The 3.25" blade is made from Elmax steel with a two tone satin finish. Elmax offers a strong balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it well suited to daily carry tasks without excessive maintenance.

Handle

The handle is Micarta, a material made from layers of linen or canvas fabric bonded with resin. It offers a warm, grippy feel in hand and holds up well over time. The knife weighs 4.51oz, giving it a balanced, substantial presence without being bulky.

Carry

The DeVille R2 uses a linerlock, where a spring-tensioned liner shifts behind the blade to hold it open securely; pressing the liner aside unlocks the blade for closing. A right-hand, tip-up pocket clip allows for quick, accessible carry.
