The Hinderer XM-18 3.5 is the flagship of the lineup and the most customized knife Rick makes, which makes this the deepest hardware page in the collection. Every part here is machined for the 3.5 inch frame, and because the 3.5 comes in standard, Skinny, and Fatty builds, the right part depends on which one you own.
Handle nuts, standoffs, and some scales differ between versions. Fatty nut sets fit only the Fatty, Skinny kits use their own standoffs and nuts with the 3 inch pivot screw, and standard scales fit the standard and Fatty but not the Skinny. Each listing calls out which build it fits, and our Hinderer hardware compatibility chart lays it out part by part.
A complete kit swaps the whole set at once: pivot screw, lockbar stabilizer, three handle screws, three handle nuts, and three standoffs. Standard kits come in brass, copper, working finish, and anodized titanium from blue and bronze to battle purple and battle green, with matching Skinny and Fatty kits. Brass and copper build a patina over time, which many owners prize for the character it adds.
Smooth and textured titanium, canvas Micarta, and G-10 scales change the look in minutes, and individual screws, nuts, standoffs, pivots, and stabilizers let you build one piece at a time. The standard 3.5 handle screws and pivot also fit the XM-24. HMBS glass breaker kits add a striking backspacer to standard 3.5 builds, with more in our HMBS hardware.
The Hinderer Armorer Tool handles disassembly, a Tri-Way replacement parts kit keeps the pivot fresh, and the 3D printed XM-18 Auto Jig holds a 3.5 inch Auto steady while you adjust its spring tension.
