The Hogue X5 is a button lock flipper designed by Allen Elishewitz. A ball detent embedded in the handle creates stored kinetic energy before blade release—assisted-opening speed without a spring. Available in 3.5-inch and 4-inch blade lengths.
Blades are CPM-154 stainless steel at 57-59 HRC with cryogenic heat treatment. Spear point and modified wharncliffe profiles are available with stonewash or black Cerakote finishes.
The handle is CNC-milled 6061-T6 aluminum in black, blue, or FDE anodized finishes. Select models add G-Mascus G10 inserts with mini-piranha texture. The 3.5-inch version weighs 4.66 ounces. A sliding manual safety locks the blade open. Deep-carry pocket clip with filler plate for either side.
Hogue manufactures the X5 in the USA with hand-sharpened edges.
