Swedish Steel Fixed Blade with American Hickory Handle

The Hults Bruk Brabo is a compact 26" felling axe built for deep woods work, from limbing and firewood processing to felling medium-sized trees. It is the heaviest axe in the Yankee-pattern lineup, suited for woodsmen who want authority and reach in a two-handed tool without the bulk of a full-size felling axe.

Blade

The 2.6 lb head is hand-forged from proprietary Swedish steel and finished forge-black with a hand-sharpened edge. The Yankee-pattern profile uses a higher grind that improves edge durability and helps the bit release cleanly from deep cuts, making it well suited to heavier splits and sustained forestry work.

Handle

The 26" handle is American hickory, a dense and shock-absorbing hardwood long favored for striking tools. Paired with the 2.6 lb head, it builds strong momentum through the swing while keeping the axe balanced and controllable over long work sessions.

Carry

The Brabo ships with a leather sheath that protects the edge and allows safe transport or storage between uses. As an axe, it has no lock or folding mechanism - the head is fixed to the handle for dependable, direct swings.
