Hults Bruk Greta 20" Forrest Axe - American Hickory - 841104

Swedish Steel Fixed Blade with American Hickory Handle

The Hults Bruk Greta is a 20" forest axe designed to bridge the gap between a compact hatchet and a full-sized felling axe. Built for campers, canoers, and woodsmen who need serious chopping power without the bulk of a two-handed felling tool, it handles everything from limbing to firewood processing.

Blade

The head is hand-forged from proprietary Swedish steel and finished forge-black. The updated Yankee-pattern profile features a higher grind for edge durability and clean release from the cut, while the refined bit geometry promotes deep penetration and larger chips with every swing. Each edge is hand-sharpened before leaving the shop.

Handle

The 20-inch handle is American hickory, a dense, shock-absorbing hardwood long favored for striking tools because it flexes under impact without transferring excess vibration to the hands. Paired with a 2 lb. head, the balance delivers the chopping efficiency of a larger two-handed axe while staying light enough to pack.

Carry

A leather sheath protects the edge during transport and storage, slipping over the bit for safe carry in a pack, truck, or canoe.

Made in Sweden.
