Hults Bruk Rodga 26" Forrest Axe - American Hickory - 841102

Swedish Steel Forest Axe with Hickory Handle

The Hults Bruk Rodga is a 26 inch forest axe built for woodland work of all kinds, from light felling and limbing to processing firewood around camp. It suits anyone who wants a single, versatile axe to carry into the trees for a full day of use.

Blade

The head is hand-forged from proprietary Swedish steel and finished forge-black, then hand-sharpened for a clean, durable edge. The Yankee-pattern head geometry is shaped to resist dulling while still releasing cleanly from the wood on repeated swings, making it well suited to both chopping and limbing tasks.

Handle

The 26 inch handle is American hickory, a dense, shock-absorbing hardwood long used in tool handles for its strength and flex under repeated impact. Paired with the 2 lb head, the overall balance gives enough leverage for controlled two-handed swings without becoming difficult to carry.

Carry

A leather sheath covers the edge for safe transport and storage, protecting both the blade and whatever it's packed alongside. The axe is light enough to sling over a pack or carry by hand into the field.

Made in Sweden.
