Jack Wolf Knives took the wharncliffe geometry that made its Venom Jack slipjoint a favorite and scaled it into a larger, more robust bolster lock front flipper, keeping the traditional trapper silhouette while giving it modern deployment and a lock. The clever detail collectors point to first: the fuller groove milled into the blade doubles as a nail nick, so the Diamondback opens by flipper, by fuller, or with a satisfying reverse flick on its ceramic bearings.
Hollow Ground S90V Wharncliffe Blade
The 3.35 inch wharncliffe runs Crucible CPM S90V at 60-61 HRC with a hollow grind and 2.92 inches of dead straight cutting edge, the geometry that makes wharncliffes surgical on cardboard, cordage, and detail cuts where a belly just gets in the way.
