Blade

The 2.83" blade is flat ground Sandvik 14C28N with a satin finish, cutting edge measuring 2.43". 14C28N is a Scandinavian stainless steel known for a good balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening, hardened here to 58-59 HRC.

Handle

Scales are ebony wood, a dense hardwood with a fine, tight grain that darkens with age and handling. Integral bolsters and liners are satin finished stainless steel, and the handle carries a double bomb shield inlay. At 2.1oz and 0.44" scale to scale, it's a slim, lightweight carry.

Carry

This is a slipjoint, opening and closing on spring tension without a locking mechanism, in keeping with traditional pocketknife design. Closed length is 3.61", making it easy to slip into a pocket without a clip.
