The Jack Wolf Timber Jack is a J.W. Kollab design from custom maker Tracy LaRock, translating his ridged, two zone grip and working silhouette into a production slipjoint with modern folder dimensions. Jack Wolf Knives builds it in two trims: the Ultralight Series drops the bolsters entirely for cross-hatched G-10 scales and colored G-10 liners, while the Steel Series brings steel bolsters and dressier scales in Richlite, canvas micarta, and Kirinite. Both wear the same blade and the same action, so the choice comes down to weight, look, and how hard the knife will work.

Ultralight and Steel Series Slipjoint Construction
Every Timber Jack is a true slipjoint with a single stainless backspring, a long pull, a firm seven out of ten strength, and a proper half stop. At 4.25 inches closed and 7.7 inches open, this is a slipjoint sized like a modern folder, and LaRock's ridged grip gives the fingers two distinct zones to index against when the work gets serious. Titanium Torx hardware and a paracord lanyard finish each build, with liner and lanyard colors matched to the release.
