Kershaw Kindred Button Lock Folding Knife

The Kindred features a button lock mechanism with drop-shut action on KVT ball bearings. The 3-inch spear point blade is ground from D2 tool steel with a full flat grind and stonewashed finish. Black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles keep the weight at 2.6 ounces while providing a contoured grip. Dual thumb studs open the blade smoothly on the ball-bearing pivot, and the steel button lock secures it in place. Pressing the button releases the blade for drop-shut closing. The reversible deep-carry clip allows right or left-hand carry, tip-up only. At 4.2 inches closed, the Kindred fits easily in a pocket. D2 steel holds an edge through repeated use and resists wear, though it requires more maintenance than stainless steels. Stonewashed hardware and a lanyard hole complete the design.
