The Launch 17 features a 3.5-inch clip point blade in CPM-S35VN steel with black Cerakote coating, inspired by traditional fighting knife designs. Made in the USA, the blade deploys via push-button mechanism surrounded by textured G10 inlay. The gray-anodized aluminum handle incorporates black G10 inlays for grip surface and visual contrast. Fingerguards at both the top and bottom of the handle keep fingers clear of the blade edge during deployment and use. CPM-S35VN steel delivers toughness, wear resistance, and edge retention at 60-62 HRC. At 8.45 inches overall and 4.95 inches closed, the knife weighs 3.1 ounces and carries via reversible deep-carry pocket clip for tip-up positioning.
