The Kershaw Blur 1670BLK combines Ken Onion's design with USA manufacturing in a SpeedSafe-assisted folder. The 3.4-inch blade features a slightly recurved drop point profile in 14C28N stainless steel with a black DLC coating for corrosion resistance. The blade deploys via SpeedSafe assisted opening, activated by an ambidextrous thumb stud, and locks with a stainless steel liner lock. Black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles include molded Trac-Tec inserts for grip texture, particularly in wet conditions. At 0.121 inches thick, the blade provides a balance between strength and slicing geometry. The recurved edge offers versatility for both push cuts and slicing tasks. At 3.9 ounces with a 4.5-inch closed length, the Blur fits standard pocket carry. The reversible pocket clip adjusts for tip-up or tip-down carry. Manufactured in Kershaw's Oregon facility.
