The Kershaw Leek 1660CB features Composite Blade Technology that joins two steels in a single 3-inch blade. A D2 cutting edge is brazed to a 14C28N spine, with a visible wavy copper line marking the joint. This patent-pending process combines the edge retention of high-carbon, high-chromium D2 steel with the corrosion resistance of 14C28N. Manufactured in the USA, this Ken Onion framelock design delivers SpeedSafe assisted opening via flipper tab or thumbstud. The bead-blasted 410 stainless steel handles measure 0.31 inches thick and weigh 3.1 ounces. The modified drop-point geometry provides slicing performance with a fine tip for detail work. The reversible pocket clip accommodates tip-up or tip-down carry on the right side.
