The Kershaw Lucha 5150 delivers USA-made construction purpose-built for flipping. This full-sized balisong features a 4.6-inch 14C28N stainless steel blade with a bead blasted finish and clip point geometry. The blade is distal tapered to concentrate weight forward, creating balanced momentum during manipulation. Stainless steel handles with bead blasted finish provide durability at 5.9 ounces, and dual KVT ball-bearing pivots on both handles reduce friction for smooth, controlled flipping. Rounded handle bevels allow the knife to roll naturally in the hand, while the rounded latch prevents snagging during tricks and includes a positive stop that keeps it clear of the blade edge. Internal stop pins provide blade stability. At 5.8 inches closed with a 10.25-inch overall length, the Lucha offers the size and weight distribution experienced flippers prefer. Manufactured in Kershaw's Oregon facility with input from the flipping community. 14C28N steel from Sandvik features increased nitrogen content for corrosion resistance and hardenability.
