KeyBar exists because everyone could hear Mike Taylor coming. As chief engineer for Savannah, Georgia's historic hotels, Taylor carried enough keys that a coworker told him his arrival announced itself from a mile away, so he went to his home shop and built something better: a patented key organizer that stacks keys silently in a folding knife-style frame with a titanium pocket clip. What started at his workbench in 2013 is now a family-run Savannah machine shop where every KeyBar is CNC machined, assembled, and packaged in the USA.
A standard KeyBar holds up to 12 keys with the included stainless steel hardware and expands to 28 with extension screw sets. Stainless washers between keys let each one swing out smoothly while the screws set your preferred tension, so keys deploy like a blade and stay put in the pocket. The KeyBar JR scales the frame down for four to five keys, and the Bomber scales it up, all with the same no-jingle, no-pocket-shredding geometry.
Frames run aircraft-grade aluminum in anodized colors and patterns, titanium, and carbon fiber, and the platform accepts more than 20 modular inserts: bottle openers, drivers, pry tools, USB drives, and other everyday essentials that bolt directly into the stack. It clips beside your folding knife and replaces the loose ring entirely, which is why it anchors our accessories department.
