The system boasts a super smooth friction drive angle adjustment with a micro adjustment feature, enabling one-handed operation and providing absolute angle control at all times. It incorporates a unique built-in stone thickness compensation (STC) system, which is both extremely precise and easy to use, also operable with one hand and doubling as an angle cube zeroing table.

The rod end guide bearing offers full 360-degree rotation, while the quick twist disconnect removable base allows the system to be used both on and off the base, held in hand. The innovative threaded Monopod brace provides a rock-solid sharpening platform that can be easily installed and removed in seconds, without the need for tools.

The fully adjustable stone carrier features a magnetic plate for angle cube use and accommodates any stone between 4” and 6” in length. The clamps securely lock blades in place using powerful levers or a hand knob, eliminating the need for tools to tighten or loosen the clamps. The system allows for easy switching between the double clamp bar and single center clamp in seconds, without tools.

The interchangeable jaw system enhances versatility, allowing you to switch between standard jaws for most knives and Pen Knife Pro Jaws for sharpening even the smallest traditional slip joint blades. You can also use a combination of standard jaws and Pen Knife Pro jaws for fillet knives and boning knives, with a specific set of jaws available for broadheads. No tools are required to switch jaw sets.

This system accommodates a maximum blade thickness of 3/8” for saber grinds and 3/16” for full flat grinds, and can sharpen blades up to 20” or more in length. It offers an angle range from 10 degrees to 45 degrees per side.

Delivered fully assembled, the system comes in a custom foam-lined hardshell storage case, which includes a 7” x 3-1/2” x 2” stone and accessory storage box. Additionally, four 6-inch KME Gold Series diamond stones are included, with one each of XC-140, C-300, F-600, and XF-1500.
