Excalibur MC and Verta Excalibur
The original Excalibur MC runs Uddeholm Vanax at 60 to 61 HRC on a 3.58 inch drop point with a milled fuller, a crowned spine, and thumb studs that pull double duty as external stop pins, the kind of engineering detail that built its reputation. The Verta Excalibur brings the same profile to Böhler Elmax and Kunwu's spine-side Verta Lock in contoured titanium or carbon fiber, and the Compact Verta Excalibur downsizes the pattern for lighter rotation. Who Designed the Kunwu Excalibur
Metal Complex, the reviewer whose hands have logged thousands of production and custom knives, co-developed it with Kunwu as a deliberate distillation of the best design decisions he has handled, and the community treated the launch accordingly, with the November 2025 Verta Lock run selling through on pre-order.
