on Orders Over $99The Lishen Dakota is a handmade fixed blade knife designed for outdoor use and bushcraft. The AEB-L steel and spalted pecan handle make it a unique, functional tool for those who appreciate craftsmanship.
Blade
The 3.875" blade is made from AEB-L, a Swedish stainless steel originally developed for razor blades. AEB-L has a fine grain structure that takes an exceptionally keen edge, making it ideal for slicing tasks. The steel's hardness runs 59-62 HRC, offering a good balance of edge retention and ease of sharpening. The blade is 0.125" thick and has a drop point shape, which is versatile for both cutting and piercing tasks.
Handle
The handle is made from spalted pecan wood, a naturally occurring pattern that forms as the wood decays. This creates striking, unique patterns in the wood. The handle length is 4.875", and the overall knife weighs 6.5 ounces, making it lightweight and comfortable for extended use.
Sheath
The knife comes with a leather sheath, providing protection and easy carry options.
Country of Origin
This knife is proudly made in the USA.
