LT Wright Overland Machete
The LT Wright Overland Machete is a handcrafted clearing tool built to take a beating. Its 12 inch blade is made from 1075 carbon steel, chosen for maximum toughness and impact resistance while staying easy to sharpen in the field. An ample 6.5 inch handle gives you comfort and control even with the largest hands or while wearing gloves, with handle slabs locked down by fisheye bolts and epoxy, plus front and rear lanyard tubes that double as a hand loop or a lashing point. A unique two stage patina finish helps resist tarnishing and rust, and we have to admit it looks pretty cool too.
Measuring approximately 19 inches overall with a full exposed tang built from 3/32 inch carbon steel stock, the Overland Machete is convex ground for a durable, hard working edge that keeps chopping when lesser edges would roll.
