The Opus V2 is Deylan's personal rework of the original Opus, built for flippers who want more presence in hand without straying from the MachineWise formula. It's compatible with the Maryn platform, meaning it accepts other Opus, SlifT, and Prysma blades for easy swaps. This is a knife for collectors and enthusiasts who like to tinker as much as they like to carry.

Blade

The 5.3" tanto blade is cut from S35VN stainless steel with a stonewash finish. S35VN is a premium powder metallurgy steel that balances edge retention, toughness, and ease of sharpening better than most older stainless steels, making it a favorite among custom and high-end production makers. The tanto profile gives the tip added strength for piercing and harder use.

Handle

Handles are finished in a low volt fade titanium, a lightweight and corrosion-resistant metal that MachineWise uses across the Opus line for its strength-to-weight ratio. The fade finish gives each handle subtle color variation from the anodizing process. At just 3.96oz, the knife carries light for its 10.4" overall length.

Carry

This is a manual flipper, opened by hand through the flipper tab for a smooth, deliberate deployment. The pocket clip allows for discreet carry and quick access when you need it.
