S35VN Flipper with Titanium Handles

The Opus V2 is Deylan's personal project at MachineWise, a reworked version of the original Opus built for flippers who want more edge and more presence in hand. It's compatible with the Maryn platform, sharing design language with the Serif, SlifT, and Prysma lineup.

Blade

The 5.3" drop point blade is S35VN steel with a stonewash finish at 0.13" thick. S35VN is a premium stainless known for its balance of edge retention, toughness, and ease of sharpening, making it a favorite among high-end folder makers. The stonewash finish hides handling marks and keeps the blade looking clean through daily use.

Handle

Raw titanium handles give this knife its lightweight, corrosion-resistant structure. Titanium is strong for its weight and develops a natural patina over time with handling. Overall weight comes in at 3.96oz, light for a knife with a 5.3" blade.
