The ROTA is a titanium pen built for people who are always writing, sketching, or fidgeting with something in their hands. MachineWise designed it as a one-handed tool: no cap to lose, no awkward click button, just a quarter-turn twist mechanism that deploys and retracts the tip smoothly.

Build

ROTA uses a twist-deploy mechanism rather than a traditional click button. A quarter turn extends the tip, and reversing that turn retracts it, so the pen can be operated entirely with one hand. It accepts a Parker-length refill, making it easy to find replacements.

Handle

The body is machined from titanium with a raw stonewash dimple finish. Titanium is lightweight yet strong, and resists corrosion and denting far better than aluminum or brass. The stonewash texture adds grip and hides minor wear from daily pocket carry. At 1.02oz and 5.125" overall, it carries light but feels substantial in hand.

Carry

ROTA is sized to slide into a pocket, pen loop, or notebook strap without adding bulk. The twist mechanism keeps the tip retracted and protected when not in use, so there's no cap to track down or misplace.
