Founded in 2011 in Meridian, Idaho, by father-son team Merlin and Josiah DeMill, former Chris Reeve Knives employees who learned knife making by working to CRK's exacting standards. They applied that knowledge to creating their own line of premium American folders. Their slogan says it all: "Simply... Doing it right!"
The Overland is Millit's answer to hard-use EDC. Built around a 3.17" sheepsfoot blade in CPM S35VN steel, it's designed for everyday utility work where a non-threatening blade profile and excellent slicing geometry matter most. The titanium framelock construction maintains the premium build quality Millit is known for, while the 0.125" blade stock provides a solid balance of cutting performance and durability. Right-hand tip-up carry keeps it accessible. If the Torrent is the gentleman's folder, the Overland is the workhorse.
Designed by TJ Schwarz in collaboration with Millit, the Torrent is a gentleman's folder that blurs the line between production and custom. The current V3 features a 3.2" CPM S90V blade, titanium framelock construction, adjustable AEBL lock insert, and runs on caged bearings. Available in multiple configurations (Light, Light Elite, Inlay, and Overlay), each Torrent is built to order with customizable anodizing options. Reviewers consistently praise it as exceptional value compared to knives costing twice as much.
