Millit Knives was founded in 2011 in Meridian, Idaho by the father and son team of Merlin and Josiah DeMill, former Chris Reeve Knives employees who learned the craft working to CRK's famously exacting standards, then set out to build premium American folders of their own. The slogan says it all: "Simply... Doing it right!"
The Overland is Millit's hard-use EDC, built around a 3.17 inch sheepsfoot blade whose non-threatening profile and slicing geometry make it the knife you can use anywhere. The current generation runs CPM MagnaCut in stonewashed or black Cerakote finishes over a titanium framelock backbone, with our configurations spanning Zirblast titanium, twill carbon fiber, canvas micarta, and G-10, each accented by blue, orange, or black anodized pivot collars and backspacers. Designed with TJ Schwarz, the Torrent is the gentleman's folder that blurs the line between production and custom. The current V3 runs a 3.2 inch CPM S90V blade in a titanium framelock with an adjustable AEB-L lock insert and caged bearings, offered in Light, Light Elite, Inlay, and Overlay configurations, many built to order with customizable anodizing. Reviewers consistently rank it against knives costing twice as much, which is why drops evaporate.
