Poikilo Blade (PKB) is a folding knife brand founded in 2021 by Andy Wang and Vince Wang — two collectors and enthusiasts whose shared obsession with precision craftsmanship and mechanical design eventually became a production knife company. The name comes from the Greek word poikilos, meaning varied or diverse, and it reflects the brand's deliberate refusal to lock into a single aesthetic or formula.
Andy has been active in the knife community since 2007, developing a collector's eye for fit, finish, and execution long before PKB existed. Vince came to the knife world in 2014 with a focus on design, mechanics, and performance. The two connected in 2016 through a shared interest in balisongs and spent years in ongoing dialogue about knives across every category before formally launching Poikilo Blade.
PKB approaches every project with both technical rigor and creative ambition. The brand pursues tighter tolerances, innovative mechanisms, and advanced materials without defaulting to safe or predictable designs. Where a lot of production brands converge on proven formulas, Poikilo Blade treats each release as an opportunity to push the conversation forward — in geometry, in mechanism, in material selection.
The result is a folding knife lineup built for collectors and users who want precision and intention in equal measure. PKB knives are not designed to blend in.
