The OBJ-1 is Rangermade Knife & Tool's first mid-tech model, designed to bring handcrafted quality to a broader audience. Pronounced "O-B-J" (military acronym for "Objective"), this framelock folder represents a long-term goal to produce high-performance knives with shorter wait times. Every component is designed and produced in-house at the maker's Colorado shop, blending CNC precision with hand-finished details.

Blade

The 3.375" drop point blade uses MagnaCut steel, a modern powder metallurgy alloy developed for extreme edge retention and toughness. MagnaCut resists wear and corrosion while taking a keen edge, making it ideal for hard-use tasks. The satin finish reduces glare and highlights the steel's clean lines.

Handle

Titanium handles are lighter than steel, stronger than aluminum, and completely corrosion-proof. This OBJ-1 uses a premium-grade titanium billet, anodized for durability and a warm, satin feel. Titanium develops a unique patina with use and resists scratches better than most metals. At 4.5oz, the knife carries lighter than many titanium folders due to its efficient design.

Carry

The frame lock mechanism secures the blade open with a sturdy stainless steel lockbar. A right-hand-only, tip-up pocket clip is included for deep-carry pocketability. The clip's low-profile design minimizes printing while keeping the knife ready for one-handed deployment.
