This model represents the maker's long-term objective of producing high-quality knives with shorter wait times and more accessible pricing. Every component is designed and produced in-house at the shop in Westcliffe, Colorado, blending CNC machining with hand-finishing for a balance of precision and character.

Blade

The 3.375" drop point blade uses MagnaCut steel, a premium American powder metallurgy stainless steel known for its exceptional edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. MagnaCut maximizes all three properties simultaneously, making it ideal for hard-use applications. The blade is hand-ground in-house, ensuring precise geometry and a keen edge.

Handle

Titanium handles provide strength and lightweight durability. The material is CNC machined and hand-finished, with all components carefully matched and deburred for a smooth, comfortable grip. The OBJ-1 weighs 4.5oz, making it a lightweight yet robust option for everyday carry.

Carry

The knife features a frame lock mechanism, which secures the blade open using a portion of the handle itself. The pocket clip is configured for right-hand, tip-up carry, allowing for easy access. All locks and detents are hand-fit to ensure smooth operation and reliability.
