MagnaCut Frame Lock with Titanium Handles

The OBJ-1 is a mid-tech framelock folder designed to bring handcrafted quality to a more accessible price point. Rangermade Knife & Tool's founder sought to eliminate long wait times for custom knives while maintaining the craftsmanship that defines high-end production. Every component is designed and produced in-house at the shop in Westcliffe, Colorado, blending CNC precision with hand-finished details.

Blade

The 3.375" drop point blade uses MagnaCut steel, a modern powder metallurgy stainless steel known for excellent edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The drop point shape is a versatile all-rounder with a strong tip and ample belly for slicing tasks. At 0.140" thick, it balances strength with controlled weight.

Handle

Titanium handles are lightweight yet durable, with a satin finish that resists wear. The material is strong enough for hard use but light enough to keep the knife at a manageable 4.5oz. The framelock mechanism is hand-fit for smooth operation.

Carry

The frame lock uses a stainless steel lock bar integral to the handle, secured with a steel lock face insert. The pocket clip is right-hand, tip-up only, positioning the knife for quick deployment. Closed length is 4.375", fitting comfortably in a pocket.
