The Reate Terminator T600 is the Terminator line's frame lock, and it's built like the name demands: a 3.8-inch MagnaCut blade on 0.236-inch stock over a full titanium frame at eleven ounces. Reate machines it as an overbuilt showpiece, and every one of the five builds in the grid runs the same steel with a different attitude.
The T600 brings CPM MagnaCut to the T series, the purpose-designed powder steel that lands top marks for edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance at once, and six millimeters of it gives this blade real spine. Finishes run satin, frosted satin, stonewashed, acidwashed, and black DLC depending on the build.
Deployment runs off a flipper tab, and the mechanism behind it is the T600's signature: per DLT's own product write-up, a sliding lock located behind the flipper controls two internal pins that can be engaged with the blade open or closed, reinforcing the frame lock in use or preventing the knife from opening at all. It's bank vault thinking applied in both directions, and it locks up on a titanium frame lock with a right-hand tip-up clip.
The builds trade on hardware the way the rest of the T series trades on inlays: a full black DLC version with matching clip and collar, a darkwashed frame carrying a copper inlay under an acidwashed blade, bead blasted frames wearing green zirconium clips, and a black DLC build set off by a crystalized blue titanium clip and collar. No two configurations read the same in hand.
Reate's catalog now holds two tanks, and the fork is steel and edge. The Reate T1000 runs 3.5 inches of M390 or CPM 3V on the same six millimeter stock at 10.5 ounces, while the T600 stretches to 3.8 inches of MagnaCut at eleven, adds the two pin safety, and wears the Terminator badge. Either way you're carrying a statement; the T600 is the one with the newest steel and the trick lock.
