Blade

The 2.79" drop point blade is a full flat grind in MagnaCut steel at just 0.1" thick, finished with a stonewash. MagnaCut is a modern stainless steel that holds a fine edge, resists corrosion, and stays tough at high hardness - this one is heat treated to 61-63 HRC, so it stays razor-sharp through hours of processing without chipping or rolling. The thin stock and flat grind make it feel like a scalpel in hand.

Handle

Black canvas Micarta scales cover the handle, a material made from linen or canvas fabric layered with resin under pressure. It's tough, stable, and grips well even when wet or covered in blood or fish scales. A scalloped front corner on the scales gives extra leverage for a pinch grip during detail work. At only 1.6oz, the whole knife carries almost weightless.

Carry

The Drake ships with a modular black Kydex sheath that is ambidextrous and adjustable for retention. The clip reconfigures for vertical carry, scout carry, pocket carry, or attachment to a chest rig or pack strap. As a fixed blade, there is no lock to manage - the knife rides secure and ready in the sheath until you need it.
