The Drake is a small, precise fixed blade built for processing trout, waterfowl, and backyard poultry. Reiff Knives designed it with hunters, anglers, and homesteaders who want a dedicated tool for delicate field dressing rather than a do-everything hunting knife.

Blade

The 2.79" drop point blade is ground full flat from 0.1" thick MagnaCut steel and finished with a stonewash. MagnaCut is a modern stainless steel that holds an edge through long processing sessions while resisting corrosion and chipping, and Reiff hardens it to 61-63 HRC for a blade that stays sharp without rolling. The thin stock and flat grind make this knife feel more like a scalpel than a hunting fixed blade, ideal for skinning and fine cuts.

Handle

Black G-10 scales cover the handle, a fiberglass laminate that resists water and stays grippy when wet. The scales include a scalloped front corner for a comfortable pinch grip during detail work, along with a light texture that keeps hold secure with messy or wet hands while still wiping clean. At just 1.8oz total, the knife carries almost unnoticed.

Carry

The Drake ships with a modular black Kydex sheath featuring adjustable friction retention. The clip reconfigures for vertical carry, scout carry, or pocket carry, and it can also be strapped to a chest rig or pack. As a fixed blade, there's no lock to manage - just draw and go.
