The Drake is a small-game processing knife built for hunters and anglers who need precision over brute force. Whether it's field dressing birds, cleaning fish, or handling poultry, this fixed blade is designed to work like a scalpel rather than a general-purpose camp knife.

Blade

The 2.79" drop point blade is ground full flat from MagnaCut steel at just 0.1" thick, finished with a stonewash. MagnaCut is a modern stainless steel that balances excellent edge retention with strong corrosion resistance, and it's hardened here to 61-63 HRC so the edge stays sharp through extended processing work without chipping or rolling. The thin flat grind is built for finesse cuts, not chopping.

Handle

The scales are made from Micarta, a resin-impregnated linen or canvas laminate known for durability and a secure grip even when wet. The handle features a scalloped front corner for a comfortable pinch grip during delicate work, along with a subtle texture that keeps hold secure and wipes clean easily. At 1.6oz total weight, the Drake carries light.

Carry

The Drake ships with a modular black Kydex sheath that is ambidextrous and uses adjustable-retention friction fit to hold the blade securely. The reconfigurable belt clip supports vertical carry, scout carry, or pocket carry, and it can also be mounted to a chest rig or pack for hands-free access in the field.
