MagnaCut Fixed Blade with G-10 Handles

The Reiff RUT is a purpose-built hunting knife designed for the real work that starts after the shot - caping, skinning, and quartering. Its straight-back profile and sweeping belly make it equally capable in camp for carving, whittling, and everyday bushcraft tasks.

Blade

The 3.81" blade is made from CPM MagnaCut, a modern steel prized for its excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and toughness - a combination that holds up well through repeated field dressing without chipping or rusting. The stonewash finish hides wear and reduces glare in the field. A high flat saber grind cuts through hide and connective tissue cleanly without wedging, while the precision tip handles delicate work and the full belly powers long slicing strokes.

Handle

The handle is built from G-10, a fiberglass laminate that stays stable and grippy even when wet or covered in blood. At 6 ounces, the knife carries light while remaining planted in hand. Strategic jimping on the spine and handle gives constant tactile reference points so you always know where your hand is positioned, even working by feel.

Carry

The RUT ships with a black Kydex modular sheath built for ambidextrous carry, allowing it to be configured for either side and multiple carry positions. As a fixed blade, there's no lock to worry about - just a solid, full-tang knife ready to go to work.
