Rivery MFG is an American machine shop turned EDC brand, run by founder Michael Sayers out of Sevierville, Tennessee, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. A mechanical engineer by background, Sayers started the operation as Rivery CNC in 2019, building fidget toys, EDC trinkets, and precision parts before the shop's knack for satisfying, tactile machining pointed it toward knives.
That turn came in early 2024, when Rivery CNC became Rivery Manufacturing and released the Zero, a billet-cut utility knife that took the EDC world by storm. The Zero is a manual out-the-front utility knife machined from 6061 aluminum, running standard replaceable utility blades behind a haptic, fidget-friendly action that buyers describe as smooth as butter and hard to put down.
