Item: RMJ-12192
The Mini Jenny Spike is the smallest tomahawk in the RMJ Tactical lineup, compact enough to stow in places a full-size fixed blade won't fit. It's a versatile tool suited for day hikes, camp chores, or situations where a smaller, easily concealed head is an advantage. Multiple sharpened surfaces, including the primary edge, the top, the underside of the beard, and the spike, support cutting, scraping, and fire-starting tasks.
Blade
The head is built from 0.250" 80CrV2 carbon tool steel, hardened to 57-58 HRC, with a 2.625" primary cutting edge and a 1.75" spike. 80CrV2 is a tough carbon steel that resists chipping under impact, making it well suited to chopping and striking tasks. A Tungsten Gray Cerakote finish adds wear and corrosion resistance to the exposed steel. Overall head length, from the forward edge to the end of the spike, measures 5.75".
Handle
Full-tang construction carries through 3D contoured G-10 scales. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate that holds up well to moisture and rough handling, and the contoured texture here grips reliably with or without gloves. Scales are attached with Grade 5 titanium fasteners finished in electro-anodized bronze. Total weight is 16.9oz.
Carry
Includes a molded Kydex bottom-eject scabbard with low-ride M.O.C straps for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there's no lock mechanism involved; the head and handle are one solid piece of steel, with the sheath providing secure retention and quick-draw access.
