80CrV2 Fixed Blade with G-10 Handles

The Mini Jenny Spike is the smallest tomahawk in the RMJ Tactical lineup, built as a versatile tool rather than a single-purpose chopper. Compact enough to conceal or stow where a larger fixed blade won't fit, it works equally well on a day hike or as a close-at-hand defensive tool.

Blade

Full-tang construction from 0.250" 80CrV2 carbon tool steel, hardened to 57-58 HRC, gives this head multiple working surfaces: a 2.625" primary cutting edge, a sharpened top, the underside of the beard, and a 1.75" spike. 80CrV2 is a tough carbon steel that holds an edge well and resists chipping under impact, making it suited to cutting, scraping, fire-starting, and breaching tasks. The Tungsten Cerakote finish adds wear and corrosion resistance on top of the hardened steel.

Handle

3D contoured G-10 scales cover the grip, offering a textured surface that is grippy without being harsh against bare hands or gloves. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate that holds up well to moisture and rough use. The scales are secured with Grade 5 titanium fasteners finished in electro-anodized bronze. Total weight is 16.9oz, with the head measuring 5.75" from the forward edge to the end of the spike.

Carry

A molded Kydex bottom-eject scabbard with low-ride M.O.L.L.E straps handles belt carry, keeping the tomahawk secure and quickly accessible. As a fixed-head tool there is no lock mechanism - the head and handle form one solid, full-tang piece.
