The Snowflake from RMJ Tactical is a modern take on the classic shuriken, built as a solid piece of steel rather than a folding or handled tool. It's designed for collectors and throwers who want a well-made star with real field-grade materials behind it.

Blade

Each point is cut from 1075 carbon steel at 0.125" thick, finished with an acid-etched Cerakote coating. 1075 is a tough, high-carbon steel commonly used in choppers and thrown tools because it resists chipping and holds up to repeated impact. The Cerakote finish adds corrosion resistance and a durable, non-reflective surface. Overall diameter runs 4.5".

Handle

The Snowflake is a single-piece design with no separate handle scales - the entire star is one continuous piece of steel, keeping the construction simple and eliminating any weak points where a handle might separate from the blade. At 4.3oz, it has a solid, balanced feel for throwing.

Carry

It ships with a molded Kydex scabbard and a set of High Ride MOC Straps that are MOLLE compatible, so the scabbard can be mounted to a belt, pack, or anything with PALS webbing. Two D-rings and multiple lashing points give you added mounting flexibility, and the straps can be removed to mount the scabbard directly to RMJ's bottom eject tomahawk scabbards.
