The RMJ Storm Crow is a tomahawk built for breaching, camp chores, and general hard use. Designed as one of RMJ's early patterns, it carries design elements that later showed up in tomahawks like the Jenny Wren and Pathfinder. Today it fits well in a preparedness kit or as a truck hawk for outdoor and emergency use.
Blade
The head is forged from 80CrV2 tool steel with a Cerakote finish. 80CrV2 is a tough carbon steel that resists chipping under repeated impact, making it well suited to chopping and prying rather than fine slicing work. The cutting edge measures 3" with a sharpened beard beneath it for rake-and-break tasks, while the opposite side of the head features a 2.25" spike for harder chores. Overall length runs 14" with the head contributing a 5.38" blade section at 0.29" thick. The Cerakote finish adds corrosion resistance along with a low-visibility gray tone.
Handle
The handle uses contoured G-10, a fiberglass laminate that stays stable and grippy even when wet. A fine texture keeps the grip secure without being abrasive. Three distinct grip zones allow you to choke up for detail work or hold farther back for full chopping power, and the handle includes multiple lanyard attachment points. Handle scales are fastened with Grade 5 titanium hardware finished in electro-anodized bronze. Overall weight comes in at 28 ounces.
Carry
The Storm Crow ships with a Kydex sheath sized to the head for secure carry and quick access.
