The composition of 0.95% carbon with minimal other elements allows it to achieve a hardness range of 56-58 HRC. It's an ideal choice for survival knives and bushcraft fixed blades where regular maintenance is acceptable. While 1095 steel will rust without proper care, its toughness makes it popular for traditional patterns.

Handle
