The Scandinoff Nordic Protector is a full-size fixed blade built in the Scandinavian tradition, suited to outdoorsmen and bushcraft users who want a dependable field knife for camp chores and woodworking.

Blade

The 5.13" blade is made from 14C28N stainless steel with a stonewash finish. 14C28N is a Swedish-made stainless steel known for a strong balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it easy to maintain in wet outdoor conditions. The stonewash finish also helps hide scratches from field use.

Handle

The handle is built from G-10, a fiberglass laminate prized for its durability and grip even when wet. It holds up to repeated exposure to the elements without swelling or cracking, and keeps the knife lightweight relative to its full-size proportions.

Carry

This fixed blade ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the blade is a single solid piece from tip to tang, offering maximum strength for demanding tasks. The leather sheath provides secure retention and a traditional look that pairs well with the knife's Nordic design.
