14C28N Fixed Blade with G-10 Handles

The Scandinoff Nordic Protector is a full-size outdoor knife built in the Scandinavian tradition, suited for bushcraft work, camp chores, and anyone who wants a dependable fixed blade for time in the woods. It ships with a firesteel for backup fire-starting in the field.

Blade

The 5.13" blade is made from 14C28N stainless steel with a stonewash finish. 14C28N was developed by Sandvik specifically for knife applications, offering strong corrosion resistance alongside good edge retention and ease of sharpening - a practical choice for a knife meant to see wet or humid outdoor conditions. The stonewash finish helps hide scratches and wear from daily use.

Handle

The handle uses Nordic Woods G-10, a fiberglass laminate construction known for its durability and secure grip, even when hands are wet or gloved. G-10 won't absorb moisture or degrade over time the way natural handle materials can.

Carry

The Nordic Protector comes with a leather sheath for traditional belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock to engage or disengage - the knife is ready to draw and use straight from the sheath, with the leather providing secure retention and a classic look that develops a patina with use.
