Sleipner Fixed Blade with Curly Birch Handles

The Scandinoff Valknut Classic is a large Scandinavian-style fixed blade suited to bushcraft, camp chores, and anyone who wants a long-bladed outdoor knife built from premium materials. The reindeer antler accent and curly birch handle give this piece a distinct Nordic character.

Blade

The 6.56" blade is made from Sleipner steel with a stonewash finish. Sleipner is a tool steel developed for high toughness and strong edge retention, holding up well to batoning and heavy outdoor use while resisting chipping. The stonewash finish helps mask wear and adds a degree of corrosion resistance over a polished surface.

Handle

The handle is curly birch, a dense Scandinavian hardwood prized for its wavy grain pattern and durability. A reindeer antler piece is fitted into the handle design, a traditional touch common in Nordic knifemaking. Overall weight comes in at 7.9oz, giving it some heft without being cumbersome in hand.

Carry

This fixed blade ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the full-length blade and handle construction provide the strength needed for demanding field tasks. The leather sheath protects the edge and allows for quick access in the field.
