The 6.56" blade is made from Sleipner steel with a stonewash finish. Sleipner is a tool steel known for its strong balance of edge retention and toughness, making it well suited to hard use in the field where chipping or rolling an edge would be a problem. The stonewash finish helps hide scratches and adds a measure of corrosion resistance.

Handle
