Item: SHI-URS-Q95TI-BL
The Shirogorov Q95 Ursus is a premium folder from one of the most respected custom and mid-tech makers in the industry. Built on a smooth-running bearing system, this knife is aimed at collectors and enthusiasts who want a high-performance folder with precise fit and finish.
Blade
The 3.74" upswept blade is made from Elmax steel with a stonewashed finish. Elmax is a powder metallurgy stainless steel that balances strong edge retention with good corrosion resistance and toughness, making it a favorite for high-end production and semi-custom knives. Jimping on the spine gives added thumb traction for detailed cutting work.
Handle
The handle scales are stonewashed titanium finished in blue anodizing. Titanium is lightweight, corrosion resistant, and naturally strong, and the milled pockets on the inside of the scales shave additional weight without sacrificing rigidity. A matching titanium backspacer includes a lanyard hole, and the whole knife weighs just 4.9oz.
Carry
This knife uses a frame lock, where a cutout section of the titanium handle itself flexes in behind the blade tang to hold it open securely - a design known for strength and easy one-hand operation. A steel lock bar insert adds durability at the contact point to reduce wear over time. The titanium pocket clip is positioned for tip up, right-hand carry only.
Made in Russia.
